How to tackle a complex technical project without losing focus on business and communication strategy.
In 2021, Atos, a leading global digital transformation consultancy, chose us as the main agency to design the construction of the digital ecosystem for European Athletics. To achieve this, we formed an integrated working team consisting of both brand strategy professionals and a digital product development team. Together, we approached the project from a 360-degree perspective where technology and communication work hand in hand.
Technological Transformation in Record Time
We conducted a swift technological migration for European Athletics, updating their architecture and adopting a headless CMS to meet their marketing and communication needs. We also created a new design system that enhanced the organization's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all digital assets and adapting it to various platforms. Our multidisciplinary team, including UX/UI designers, strategists, project managers, and full-stack developers, worked in an agile manner to address monthly development challenges. Furthermore, we achieved pioneering integration with World Athletics, the leading global athletics organization, enabling the display of historical data and live results. Together with Atos, we developed interactive feeds that allowed European Athletics to live-stream their events. In summary, we conducted an audit of the technical architecture, facilitated an agile technological migration, strengthened the visual identity, and established a fully integrated platform with new data sources. Our focus was on achieving European Athletics' goals and providing innovative solutions within their digital environment.
